Reported by Stuff.tv, Sunday (04/05/2015), LG G4 plan will be revealed at the end of April 2015. Rumors previously revealed that LG might not be using a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen for G4.
However, LG Display, a division of the South Korean company announced the first details related to the display panel or display device. The new flagship smartphone will carry a 5.5-inch display with IPS technology that runs at 1440 x 2560 resolution (538 ppi).
LG said, G4 obtain significant improvement on the screen compared to G3. The new phone is claimed to offer a more realistic color and richer thanks to 'color gamut' 120 percent.
In addition, a contrast ratio of 50 percent higher than other qHD screen and the screen will be 30 percent brighter without consuming a large battery. The company also adopted Advanced In-Cell Touch (AIT) technology which allows touch sensors embedded in the LCD screen rather than placing it on top of the LCD.
Thus, LG G4 brings a more sensitive touch screen. Image in the display is clearer and sharper.
