As reported by Phone Arena that this news was reported by the South Korean technology blog, ET News, Samsung is working on Galaxy S7 which has the code name, Jungfrau. The interesting thing about this report is that South Korean mobile phone manufacturer is going through a test unit with Qualcomm chipset.
If the rumors are true, this means that the Samsung Galaxy S7 would likely have two variants, models which use Exynos, and models with Snapdragon. Another possibility arises that Samsung only test various configurations before deciding what chipset will be embedded in its new flagship smartphone.
As we all know that before the Galaxy S6 was launched some time ago, Samsung reportedly will invest Snapdragon 810 chipset. At that time, the chipset is the latest version of Qualcomm.
But in the end, Samsung decided to use its own Exynos 7420 chipset. The reason, Snapdragon 810 at that time reportedly suffered overheating.
